Since becoming the Head of the Office of the CIO & IT Operations in ITS at Northeastern University, Amanda has helped to guide and execute multiple IT strategic initiatives, drive operational goals while building and maintaining key relationships across the university and the global network. Prior to this role Amanda has held previous roles in project management, operations, and administration at Northeastern University
Through her time at the university she has participated and organized multiple trainings related to leadership, finance, change management, engagement and more. Two learning opportunities that she's completed over the last 18 months are Design Thinking from the Design Thinkers Academy that specializes in collaborative problem solving and problem analysis and Strategy Execution at Harvard Business School which focused on strategic planning, resource management, and business strategy.
Some of the most impactful special projects that she has worked on include the rolling out of the ITS Finance & Administrative portal, dashboards for senior leadership, and the Mills merger integrations for ITS.
Amanda holds a bachelor’s degree from West Virginia University in Criminology with a minor in Organizational Communications.
